The Finance organization of Genmab is growing and is now looking for a Senior Accountant to join the Accounting Operations team in Copenhagen.
This is a key position and a great opportunity for an experienced, motivated, and ambitious accounting professional.
Your tasks:
· Thorough and high-level reconciliation of certain accounts across 4 entities.
· Strictly follow closing procedures and calendar.
· Ensure accruals and other entries are booked correctly.
· Participate in internal and external audit reviews as needed and fulfill audit data requests.
· Perform global accounting procedures for specified areas.
· Ensure governmental statistical reporting requirements are met.
· Support the Associate Director with account analysis’ and ad hoc requests as needed.
· Other tasks as needed
Your profile:
Most importantly, you got a positive mindset, and a desire to learn.
You thrive in managing multiple priorities, where your attention to details makes you a valued sparring partner when it comes to reporting and internal controlling.
Your strong analytic skills enable you to review financial analyses and identify potential issues.
Furthermore, you possess the following:
· BA or BS mandatory, CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CA (Certified Accountant) and/or MBA is preferred.
· 5+ years of experience in accounting
· Strong technical accounting skills and understanding disclosure requirements.
· SAP knowledge is strongly desired, but not a must.
· Excellent business acumen, with strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Practical information:
Start-up date: As soon as possible
Duration: Until 31/12-2024, with possible extension or permanent employment at Genmab
Location: Copenhagen, Denmark. Once fully established in the role, occasionally it will be possible to work from home at a frequence agreed with the team.
Salary: Will be negotiated individually, dependent on qualifications.
