The Position
As Trading Surveillance Officer at Saxo Bank, you will be a part of the Regulatory Trading Surveillance team. The team is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and reporting suspicions Market Abuse (MA) activity in the bank. The team is also responsible for the development, and implementation of systems, calibrating measures for detection/analysis.
The overall goal is to detect and deter potential market abuse and avoid disruptions to the market from anomalous trading activity, hence maintaining a strong market integrity.
Regulatory Trading Surveillance is part of the Trading and Market access department, whose primary responsibilities are to manage the multi-asset class product strategy and support with product functionalities, market access, and subject matter expertise throughout the value chain.
Primary focus areas for the short-term position:
Reviewing market abuse suspicion alerts by analyzing data on client profile, activity, and market information. Document your analysis/conclusion and maintain all related information for each case.

Furthermore, we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
- Relevant academic background and/or working experience
- Great interest in financial markets
- Good understanding of trading products and trading markets
- Highly structured, analytically skilled with attention to details
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, MS Office suite.
Other information
The start date will be as soon as possible. It is a full-time interim position at a duration of three months with the possibility of getting an extension.
Working hours will be Monday to Friday between the hours 8.00-17.00 = 37 hours per week.
Salary according to qualifications.
You will be employed by Moment and work for Saxo Bank in Hellerup.
